Thanks, WMUTeach. So how are the candies? Have you all gotten inspired? Are you building a great stash to create with or are you still in the collecting stage? I am still in the collecting stage and am looking forward to seeing how you all are going to build my stash this year. :-)

A million years ago in here I was in my first exchange, a Halloween themed Sunbonnet Sue block exchange. Boy did that push me into figuring out all sorts of things but I was hooked. I have been wandering searching for Sunbonnet Sue ever since (but haven't done anything with my beautiful blocks, yet). Yesterday I found a truly beaten up Sunbonnet Sue quilt at an antique mall and bought it for far more than I should have -- $20. It didn't break my bank and I have dreams of repairing it. As soon as I have a picture of it in its "before" state, I will share with you.

I am sorry, Gannyrosie, looking at my list, I didn't see your name. I looked through all my envelopes a couple times and don't think I got yours. I saw that you sent it 6/4. I'll keep watching for it.

Crispy_Frog I just sent you a PM with the potential solution to the missing envelope.

WMUTEACH, you got it! I set Gannyrosies package aside to ask about who it came from.
Thank you Ganny for the wonderful greeting!

I haven't been on the board lately since I last noted. Hope all the June birthday girls had a great day. It's been sorta hectic around here. After returning from daughters of an exhausting week and then having the kids(4) for four days I went down with a sinus infection that was like a summer cold.
I realized after getting a PM that when I rushed to mail the June pkg's I didn't put my screen name on them, sorry, was a little chaotic.
hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer, seems we are going to have one of those hot, dry summers here in south Louisiana. I know it's age with me, but I can't take it like I used to.
heck, even the dog gets too exhausted when we go for his am walk at 630.
Not doing too much sewing right now, though I am working an hour or two in the am hand quilting a UFO.

Chin up Gannyrosie. All is well and this hot season will pass. We ALL have seasons of less time in our sewing room and other times when we are massively productive. Caring for family can be rough and as much as we love them, those dear grands wear us out. Can you show us a photo of the quilt you are working on? I for one love hand quilting but have only done a few small pieces and one large quilt for a special nephew.

All, watch for the next posting of birthdays in just a few days, June 20th.
