Oh, Ibex94 that is beautiful! Are there any colors that you need?

Here is what I am considering as my next big challenge. https://arbeedesigns.com/products/trinity-celtic-knot I discovered the pattern by conversing with a 2.5" user from Australia. Yes, I did suggest she join the Quilting Board and lurk with us for ideas.

I googled Trinity Celtic Knot and found many color variations on Pinterest that I like better than the RWB in the pattern. Honestly before I start this one, I need to get....6 UF0/WIPs finished. I keep making tops in an effort to whittle down my stash.

Wow Ibex that is an awesome pattern to use your candies on. If I didn't have so many irons in the fire, lol, I would totally do this one. Good luck Ibex, it will be beautiful! 🌟 🤩

Oh cool, Ibex. It's a Scrappy Swoon quilt! There was a QAL for a Scrappy Swoon on the board several years ago. I made one then, a big baby size. I used only my pink. white and green candies. I nearly used all of my pinks up!

Sewbizgirl, I like your piece because of the contrast between the background and the pink and green blocks. The giant "swoon" stands out clearly.

I went searching for the Scrappy Swoon Quilt Along on the QB and found it, 2015. Scrappy Swoon Quilt Along - 2015 and I also found the original free pattern for the sew along https://hopefulhomemaker.com/scrappy-swoon-quilt-along/

The squares are not 2.5's but what a beauty.

Ibex94. It looks like the pattern you selected is made of 2.5's, if I counted correctly. Love it!

I made my Scrappy Swoon with 2.5s so it came out smaller…baby quilt size. The pattern is for 3.5” squares if it is to be a big quilt. I think mine with 2.5” came out around 50” square.

In looking again, the patterns are quite different. Really, just the outside shape is the same I think.

Default July Birthdays - we don't have any!

Just a reminder that we do not have any July Birthday Swappers this year! So instead of sending a little envelope of 2.5's post a picture of a quilt you have made, a quilt in progress an idea you found to use your stash, collection or 2.5s or just something that will stimulate our creativity. Yes, indeed all who submit by Friday, June 24, will have their names put in the "jar" with a chance to win a quilting prize.

I can't play but here are three ideas from my "Someday Quilt" file. Not all are all 2.5s but they all use those little gems as part of the blocks.

    Default Some of my projects!

I don't post here often because I have been working more than full-time the last few years. I am posting three projects made from various sized charms and a bag made from some interesting fabric I found in Japan.
