The names of swapping partners should come to us this weekend. Keep watching for a PM from Macybaby. I am humming Christmas tunes and watching for that white stuff falling from the clouds.

I have been making Christmas potholders for gifts this afternoon and evening, so I am getting a double dose of holiday yearning.

That's funny WMUTeach, I've been making Christmas potholders too today. Great minds think alike. I'm making a really simple one and a folded star one. 🌟 I love both! 💘

Gannyrosie I received your interesting package in the mail yesterday. Thank you!

Only four more days until I'm a year older. The charm of that event has faded with time, but receiving all of these birthday greetings almost makes it worth another trip around the sun.

Loveof quilts, I stumbled on this video last night and may try it if I need to make a more simple potholder using holiday fabric. The back of her pot holder could be made with some 2.5 squares! Laura of SewVeryEasy gave some good tips before the simple potholder instructions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwmMFn79prY

For those participating in the Winter/Holiday swap, I've sent information and mailing addresses by PM. If you were expecting something and didn't get a message, please let me know ASAP.

I got a bit carried away ordering fabric for this swap, and my fabric should be showing up tomorrow. Will get it washed and then start cutting.

Macybaby -- one can never get too carried away with buying fabric! Corpus Christi had a shop hop going on this weekend. I dragged my dad to the shop so I could match up some of BOOM F8s with fabric on Thursday and walked out with a new machine (Babylock Joy) and some fabric and a bug in my ear about the shop hop. I looked it up online and decided that Dad and I needed to go check out the shops I didn't know existed. So many things to see and do. Such a huge distance to get to all five of the participating shops. Such wonderful fabrics are now in my stash. :-) Christmas candies are being cut in between guests for the next couple of days and then into the mail they go.
