This is my current candy project. it was the mystery quilt from the last candy swap I did with you all a few years ago. My first attempt at freemotion on a domestic machine (so not the same as a long arm!!) But this is a king size, so I should have a pretty good handle on what I am doing by the time I am done.
Wow, I mentioned "in progress" and you quilt is quite literally in progress and under the needle! Thanks for posting!

OOOO I like the pattern JENNR8R. A bit of a puzzle to look at, at first but oh so much fun. It is made in quadrants so it might not be as challenging as it appears. I may have found my 2023 birthday candy quilt! Not to be confused with my 2022 birthday swap quilt that will go with me to my October quilt retreat hopefully to be finished....the top at least. Thanks for the good idea and its FREE.

I’m working on binding by machine a Halloween throw/twin quilt. I will post pics when I get it off my quilting machine and Finnish binding. I’m in the middle of binding 3 quilts this weekend. It’s number 3 to bind.

A day late - I don't know why I can not post photos directly from my phone.
Haven't done much with my candy. I did gift the I Spy and she is so enjoying it.
I have been working on making fidget quilts for the Veterans and nursing homes. And I use my empty bobbins too! So much fun - and no quilt police!
Have opened up a few envelopes each day- as its right around the corner!

Jennr8r - that is a great candy idea quilt!

Laf, you look like you are having too much fun with that fmq.

Reba -- your candy houses look fun, too. NZquilter is starting up a housing swap.... I wonder if I can whip out five houses candy style for the swap....?

Ideas ideas..... WMU- you are such an instigator!

Don't despair, WMUT... I can easily see the red crosses. If you want them to "pop", use a fluffy batting and ditch stitch the crosses. Then put more stitching on the other candies, like stipple or even cross hatching the candies would work. They will really stand out then.

Love the candy houses quilt too!

Your quilt, LAF, looks very pretty, but I can't wait to see it fully stretched out.

    I'm off to the couch...

TG, what an adorable little girl, obviously loving her I Spy Quilt! Is that your granddaughter? She's a doll!

My 2.5 quilt is in the same place it was last time I showed it! Still just a top.
