Quossum, did you see any great gadgets? Did you come home with a new machine? What is your favorite find?

WMUTeach -- another lovely idea for our candies! Thank you!

Was browsing and saw this kit. https://www.connectingthreads.com/ho...t-kit/p/118761
I liked the design, and would be great for special fabrics too.

I pulled out my bin of candy squares. Then I found a second one hidden in my sewing room closet! Ummm, that’s got to be it for me until I start using them up. I guess I’ll just be a lurker next year. 😢. I’ll miss the swap and all the lovely birthday wishes.

No new machine, since the one I have is fairly new, but yes to the gadgets! I got a scissors set, an LED guide for the machine, and some of that gridded fusible webbing that you use with small squares to keep the seams perfect. I’m sure that will come in handy for the many squares I’ve got now!

It will be so nice to actually get to play with all these new toys. Maybe someday!

FYI - contest winners. Your packages are off to the post office as soon as I click save on this note. Without a pile of whining, I have not been able to walk about much for the last two weeks. So today, being a better day, I am off to the PO, vote and then back to some sedentary activities like adding a binding, finishing a Christmas ornament and grading student papers. Ya, never know how confining home can be until you can't leave it when you want to.

    Have a wonderful afternoon everyone.

Sorry to hear of your mobility issue. I hope it gets resolved soon WMUTeach.

I like the pics on ways to use our candy. Ty

update on my recieved candy. #13 Logcabin82; #14 Gaijin; thank-you everyone. Only 2 more right?

Today I quilted a baby quilt for a friend. Then did house work for 3 hours. Tomorrow it’s unloading boxes and organizing rooms. I’m done moving furniture around. I need to do a deep clean in each room now. Then I can focus on quilting and sewing on more tops.

There are 19 in the swap so you should receive 18 packages.

Happylab, JENNR8R is correct. Perhaps you were thinking last year's swap numbers. You have more little dar'lins coming than you expected. Tee-Hee-Hee.

Mobility is getting progressively worse. Thanks for the good thoughts, prayers, and wishes. Doctor's appointment late this afternoon. Planning on the deep dive to figure this out.
