Bonnie Hunter's page had this candy block up on her wall with this week's retreat group. https://quiltville.blogspot.com/2023...kend.html#more

It's crazy how those candies keep jumping out at me!

    Janice, I’d like a pic.

How many March birthdays? I want to get them ready soon.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Whether you celebrate or just let the day pass, we all have someone we love and care about. Give them a call, a hug or bask in a loving memory.

Here is my one and only valentine quilt that I made last year. Kitty and I have spent some time snuggled up on the couch under my hearts made of 2.5's yesterday and today. Celebrate your special love and share a valentine/heart quilt with us.

Happy Valentine’s Day. I don’t have a quilt to commemorate the day but I love yours, WMUTeach. It’s sweet.

I awoke early today so I’m starting our taxes for last year since it’s still too dark for me to work on sewing my quilt together. The scrappy quilt came together fast with lots of mindless sewing on the crumb blocks. Not candy squares scrappy but fun nonetheless. It’s up on my design wall and once it’s light out I’ll start assembly.

    Have a lovely day everyone!

Great quilt wall, Janice! I love your Chilhowie quilt blocks, too. Your bday is getting closer!

    WMUteach -- great hearts quilt!

    Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Love those little crumb blocks, Janice. I'm working on some 5" ones and am really hooked! What size are yours? Each one is like a little masterpiece. What a great way to make a hit on the scrap pile.

I went in for cataract surgery yesterday. Today... I can see! Can already tell the one 'new' eye is seeing so much better than the other. It was a really easy surgery, too. Can't believe how blind I was... So thankful to see!

    HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, Swap Buddies!

Sewbiz, the blocks are Bonnie Hunter’s Crumble Jumble. The pattern is in String Frenzy, a book she put out some years back. I’ve eyed the pattern for years but just decided to do it one morning when I had nothing better to do. They’re addictive! I love them. I made a few extra by mistake so I’ll probably start another one someday soon. Glad your cataract surgery went well. When will you be having the other eye done?

Thanks, Ibex, re Chilhowie and the crumb blocks. Yes, my birthday is sneaking up. Soon it’ll be time to open my packages!
