I belong to three quilt guilds. That's waaaay too many! I moved a couple of years ago and didn't know which one to join so I joined three last year. Trying to participate in each one just a little has me overwhelmed. I know which one I will rejoin next year now.

I just finished this sheep wallhanging. I have a wall beside my dryer that has a small built-in shelf in it. It's an eyesore and totally useless. It would be too expensive to repair the wall, so I made this wallhanging to cover it up. I'm planning another one with chickens for the wall above the dryer.

I started to sew the hanging sleeve on this morning, and my sewing machine broke!!! It's in the hospital. I'm so sad...

JENNR8R, that pair of sheep are too cute for words, so I won't use any more. Waiting for the chickens! Bahhhhhhhd machine! (Had to add that. It is just that kind of silly morning at my house.)

Those sheep are precious! I love how the quilting really enhances the design.

I hope the sheep are an indicator that you use wool balls in your dryer. WMUteach, I love your pun! You're baaaaaahhhd, too.

I hope the machine comes back to you quickly, Jennr8r! Love that wall hanging. Bring on the chickens!

JENNR8R, those sheep are darling! I’m wondering where you got the pattern. I bet my granddaughters would love something like this for their room. My eldest GD has a sheep which is named “lovey” and is her most cherished belonging. Can’t wait to see the chickens. Good luck with your machine

Well, I got my smallest UFO quilted this morning. Now it’s time to work on the binding. Coincidentally, the fabric is a bunch of silly sheep. Baaaaaahhh.

Oops! I forgot to give y'all the pattern for the sheep block. It is called Wooly Stars by Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts. It's on sale for $8.95 from Quilt in a Day: https://www.quiltinaday.com/shoponli...-Quilts/252748

I've made 14 sheep in the last month. Two were for this wallhanging... The other 12 will go into a quilt someday.
