Two to go and you can start throwing confetti and searching for those birthday candles.

Thanks for the pattern link. As soon as I opened it, I know I either have it or was drooling over it in the past. Charming little sheep with the quilt block on their rump. That would make such a charming baby quilt with some minor adjustments to make it a little smaller in size. Thanks for the share. What lovely quilting on your "wee woolies".

Hi everybody! Hopefully you don't mind me lurking. I love reading everything you all are up to! I miss joining in and swapping candies this year and I'm hoping to join in again next time round. My life is a perpetual circle of nursing the twins, changing diapers, rocking babies to sleep and cleaning the house when I can. I am so glad I made tons of freezer meals while pregnant, they have been a life saver! The twins have each doubled in weight since birth and I am loving all the extra snuggles I'm being spoiled with. There is nothing like two babies cooing at you!

NZ, so glad to hear from you. I have been wondering about you and your transition to life with two little ones and your olders, Thrilled that you are enjoying all of the snuggles. That is one of the joyful benefits of being a mom or grandma to little ones, snuggles. Your high level of organization and planning is certainly paying off and allowing you a wee bit of extra kiddo time and a big breath on those really busy days.

Pop in and lurk all you want, comment and contribute as you can. I for one love to hear and see your accomplishments, although I am guessing sewing is not on your high priority list at the moment. As you know from previous experience, stitching will find its way back in to your life as your family gets a little older you have a little more time for yourself. I kept your name on my contact list for next year. Several swappers from the past took a year off for many kinds of reasons from "I have too many 2.5s already" to "I am caring for critically ill family". I will let folks know when we are gathering again for the 2024 swap year.

Looking forward to hearing from you now and again as your "Year of the Twins" progresses.

NZQ, so good to hear from you. I expect you must fall into bed at the end of each day but I wonder how the twins are sleeping. How old are they now? My youngest granddaughter is almost a year and she’s still waking her parents frequently. They’re sleep deprived a lot of the time but they know it won’t last much longer.

Hope you can join us next year! It’ll be here before we all know it.

Great to hear from you, NZ! So glad you are loving life with the twins. I'm sure your older girls are helping out as much as they can. My newest grand is about a month behind your twins. His sister is almost 4, and when she's playing on the rug, Mommy sets the baby down beside her and he is fascinated watching her. She entertains him with puppet shows and peek a boo games. His little smiles are coming out. I'm sure yours have been smiling and "talking" too. They have that baby language at about 2 months and I just love it.

So great to hear from you. Hi to all your little girls too!

Glad to hear from you NZ. Oh I'm sure those twins are keeping you busy. When I was taking care of my 1 st 2 grands, they were Irish twins (10 1/2 months apart). It was not a walk in the park. Enjoy those cuddle moments and keep us updated.
