No. Probably less than half. If I can do the math, 50 x 20 = 1000. Then using lights and darks only reduces the available to less than 500, probably. Anyway, it’s great variety. I’ve not discovered a way all the different candies can fit into 1 quilt. Loving the suggestions.

Gemm, thanks for the contribution to our library of quilts that use 2.5s. Never enough ideas.

HSTs --- Usually I cut them as Pet and JENNR8R do. I love HSTs almost as much as 2.5s simply because they are so versatile.

Quossum - I open mine all packages on my birthday so I have something special to do on my day. That sounds a bit whinny, but more often than not my celebration is not ON my birthday but on the weekend before or after when family can make it work, So I have the anticipation of waiting, then opening a whole pile of presents ON my birthday.

By the way, I did not post on 2.5 day because I haven't made any progress on my Christmas Cross Quilt since the last posting. Guess it is time to get moving on it again but not for about a week or so. Projects at hand that need to be finished and a quilt show on Saturday. Then a picnic and concert in the park after church on Sunday. All this weekend fun is cutting into my quilting time, but I adore being that busy!

Good evening all! I have begun to receive my brithday candies and I love it! I am opening all envelopes as they arrive, because I simply just do not have the self control. lol. but, I am not actually going to go through the candies and look at them all until my birthday. It's my kind of compromise. :-)

Good compromise, LAF2019. I haven't seen that one before. You DO have self discipline. Many of us could not resist going through all the little bits and enjoying them one by one.

My list of arrivals is growing:
    1. RebaQuilts
    2. Patrick’s Mom
    3. Janice McC
    4. JENNR8R
    5. Bjsmith57
    6. Grannyrosie

Thank you, all! I’m going to compromise and open one a day during the month of August until I run out. Or maybe I’ll start on my birthday; that will take me almost the rest of the month of treats!

One more 2.5 quilt option. I made it in 2015 as a baby quilt and was reminded of it on another thread here on the Board. https://s31968.pcdn.co/wp-content/up...ing_Splash.pdf

That’s so pretty Linda! Would be cute as a scrappy with our 2.5”s.
