The envelopes are addressed. Watching for a treat for each one. And waiting to send until a week before your birthday.
As to the side-swap, could I ask for “winter”, not holiday? I’d like a wall hanging for January and February. And since Fl doesn’t have snow, it’s hard to find winter prints. I’d like the wall hanging to remind me of COLD weather. The same is true for fall color. It’s more like spring/summer. I’m being homesick again.

It is 2.5 Day!
I was planning on having this top finished but I need to add just one more row of single 2.5's to the bottom then it will be finished. At that point I will have used about 900, 2.5's Now in evaluating this pattern at this point, I would have done some things differently. Perhaps make the crosses white or gold. The simple pattern became more difficult with so many multi-colored squares with the red crosses. If I do this again, and I just might, I would make sure I had a greater contrast between back ground squares and the crosses.
Next 2.5 day I hope to have it quilted and bound.
Hope to see some more photos of other's progress to day or maybe tomorrow .

Like the little houses, Rebaquilts. What is the source, IG? I don't know that. Or perhaps I am having a forgetful moment. I am sneaking up on another birthday, don't ya know!
Went to the mailbox on my way out to dinner with an old friend who is visiting from Ohio and found more envelopes. Yes, I am waiting for my birthday to open!

Happy 2.5 day!
This is my current candy project. it was the mystery quilt from the last candy swap I did with you all a few years ago. My first attempt at freemotion on a domestic machine (so not the same as a long arm!!) But this is a king size, so I should have a pretty good handle on what I am doing by the time I am done.

Here is a free pattern that could be made with candies.
