Hooray for my birthday month! Today I received the envelope from @terriamn , and though the poor envelope looked like it had seen better days (perhaps explaining its delay!), the lovely candy within made it safe and sound.

    Thank you, terriamn!

As usual my envelopes are SLOWLY making their way to their new homes.

I love to meander and or stipple. Trying to expand and have been practicing with rulers but have a long way to go

Ditto on the meander and stipple. Been doing it for years and I always start off well but as time goes by my stitches get more and more irregular. I need to s-l-o-w down. But I get so anxious to finish. I need to get an extension table for my Pfaff before trying rulers. I do lots of straight line and cross hatch on my donation quilts. Fast and easy.

My black and white is almost finished! It was too hot to do much except hide out in my sewing room today. Back down to the 70's by the weekend with nights in the 50's. Fall is popping up its head again. We had a weird day here.... so hot some schools only ran half day. Only newly build schools have AIR, so beautiful old buildings are dangerously hot. Usually schools close for ice or snow not heat.

Happy to see so many packages are on their way.

Thank you all for the wonderful bounty of calorie free goodies. And all the extras. DH took me out to brunch and then to walk around Portsmouth NH. Then to our favorite farm-to-table restaurant.
My DS left this “card” for me this morning. Now don’t you just love homemade cards ! We pushed his dinner out until Friday.
