TG, a hand made note is precious and to be cherished. Bet you will be celebrating all weekend.

Now that I am back in MS, I get to look at this amazing assortment of envelopes that has arrived for my Sept birthday. Here are the latest:

    Heathermom20pmc
    WMUTeach
    Patrick's Mom
    Macybaby
    Quossum
    Gaijin
    Brenda W

Thank you everyone!! This is so much fun. I love looking at the array of stamps and postal markings on the envelopes, too. Lots of variety. I have kept all the envelopes from past candy trades, too, so tons of great philatelic diversity! You share so much joy, everyone. Thank you!

I have just returned from the post office where my Sept candies have been mailed successfully. I even bought a bunch of 2oz stamps for future packages if they don't need to go through hand stamping. So many pretty stamps! I totally missed the Ansel Adams stamps. I hope they are available on USPS.com....

Well, what should I find in my mailbox today but *another* packet from @terriamn ! I’m assuming one of the packets I received was the original and one was the replacement.

I haven’t opened this latest one. My thought is that if you’re going to be in next year’s exchange, we can consider this second envelope your very *early* packet to me for 2025! If you’re not going to be in the exchange next year, we can work something out.

    What do you @WMUTeach ?

Quossum, in the past and even this during the current year, swappers just accepted the second package as a second birthday surprise, opened, and kept it. I will leave this between you and terriamn.

Hello, September everyone. There is a cloud hanging over my marsh this morning. Really, there is a layer of cloud covering the vegetation and shadowing the trees on the far side as the sun rises. Beautiful colors, all tones of green and gold cushioned with gray. Could be a color palette for fall quilt that is not orange and black or leaves. Enjoy your beautiful Labor Day Sunday everyone.

Quossom consider the second package a bonus and enjoy them

WMUT fall colors are very special to me, looking at my fall inspired quilts always brings a smile to my face.
