Thanks for the mini list, Patrick's Mom. I bet your mailed packages got caught in the weekend and holiday vortex. I would expect a deluge soon.
A lovely start of the day here in the Mitten. Sun, birds and yes, we had rain again. Some folks are grumbling but we need the water and things are so beautifully green with the rain we have had in the past weeks. A little here a little there and lots of green grass and leaves and ....weeds. I like happy farmers who don't have to irrigate. Time for tea and a bit of stitching.

TravelingGramma -- great quilt! No wonder your grandkids want to do quilting with you. Such beautiful creations!
Just drove through Texas. Yesterday, on the highway adjacent to the Convention Center where the International Quilt Show goes on in the fall I got caught in a hailstorm that lasted over 30 minutes. I expected to see my car loaded with small dings (pox) all over it but it just dinged the dirt off in splotches. I stopped for the night. Today after two hours of no rain, I had rain for the remaining 8 hours it took me to get home to central MS. Slow going when your windshield wipers don't wash the water away very quickly. Heavy rains were fine to drive through. The hail had me looking for tornadoes. No flooding in Houston from yesterday's heavy rains. It wasn't a derecho like the one that hit last week in Houston, thankfully.
Corpus was just hot for Memorial weekend. Where is the rain when it is needed?

Yeah, Crispy_Frog our numbers match. Ditto to the "Amazing!" More on their way for sure, for sure!
Another nearly perfect day in the Mitten. I saw a rusty toned doe walking past through the marsh this morning. What a peaceful site as she moseyed through the tall marsh grasses gazing around at the view and twitching her ears. I kept watching for a little one trailing behind her, but not this time.
