Ibex, that sounds like one tough drive. Glad you made it safely.
Happy to hear the candy packages are making their way to the birthday gals.
We had a visitor to the yard yesterday who tore down a bird feeder. A black bear. Pic is below. DH scared it away and it dropped the feeder.
Our dog died several days ago. It’s heartbreaking but DH and I are getting through the tremendous loss but it sure isn’t easy.

A black bear! Whoa... There are supposed to be some in our state too, but we've never seen one. Or know anyone who's seen one. Take the bear as a good sign that there are better days ahead for you, Janice.

Patrick's Mom, bet your mail delivery person is wondering what is going on with your mountain of packages! Tee-Hee-Hee!
Yikes a bear! I will take my calm little doe tripping through the marsh over a bear. She doesn't knock down bird feeders but she does eat hosta. Bears haven't been part of the natural inhabitants of my area for many, many years. Now if ya'll want to talk the occasional cougar, we have those show up every now and again. DNR said Michiganders were all delusional until trail cams started recording them. Yup, we got them but I've never seen one. And you folks have bears.

Oh wow a bear, not what I would like to see in my backyard. I’ll settle for the wild turkeys who wonder through ours.
WMUT hubby and I visited your lovely state last year for our summer get away. We went to the UP enjoyed it so much we will be heading there this July for a longer stay. Really need to up my walking game so I can hike the beautiful if not precarious trails

Hi all, I sent mine out yesterday so hopefully they will get there quickly as well. I'm furiously working on the challenge 4th of July fabric contest quilt and then hopefully will start on the ballerinas. Hugs!

Hi again, everyone,
Found this neat tutorial and appreciated that the blogger included their accidental layout as well. Double the options! I think this pattern would demand more of your low-volume fabrics than you might like, but it's still pretty attractive. :-)
