Gemm, thank you for the link to this site. I have never seen it before, so her blocks, tutorials and blog were all new to me. The tutorial for Mrs. Keller's Nine Patch Quilt block is clear with good photos of each step. and moved a simple 9-patch to something more exciting. I saved it to use for a future baby quilt.

Hey Boom Block swappers, and there are a few who are also Birthday Swappers too, the site recommended by Gemm has pages of 12" blocks. Some old standbys while others that are new to me or maybe it is just the presentations are in new colors that makes them fresh.

I am singing in the rain this Saturday night. Looks like a few more hours of gentle rain. The birds are singing and chirping while it showers down on them, so I know it is not raining hard. Have a wonderful evening and a peaceful Sunday.

Ooooo, the day of package opening is approaching. Only six days to go and we will see confetti and balloons floating out of your front door as you celebrate.

Reba! You won't believe what came in the mail today. I got your first birthday card, the one you sent from Hamilton MO! It was perfectly addressed and postmarked April 9 (my birthday), and here it is June 3 today-- nearly two months later! It has a pile of postal bar code stickers on it, four in all... so as many as 4 people were too inept to get it to me, with the zip code clear as day. Sheesh.
Thank you for the sweet card and candies, no matter how late. And I especially thank you for the second package of treats you sent!

Yeah, packages arriving for both of our June birthday gals. Thanks for the update, Crispy_Frog.

And three cheers and lots of hands clapping for Sewbiz and Reba. If that envelope could talk I bet it would have quite a story to tell about its journey from Hamilton, Missouri to Mississippi. Whooopie! Enjoy the double scoop of birthday candies.

I mailed your card on May 21 along with Crispy Frog's. She got hers, but I'm getting concerned about where mine to you went. Tomorrow will be two weeks ago.

Jennr8r just the opposite for me. I mailed Patrick’s mother and Crispy Frog at the same time and Crispy Frog received her’s and Patrick’s mom hasn’t received hers

Crazy how much news I miss while reorganizing for the start of school! The sympathy for my drive is making me get warm fuzzies. Thank you.

Gemm, thank you for the link.

Janice, hugs to you and your dh.
