It’s the oddest thing, the mail carrier didn’t pick up my candies yesterday or today! It’s possible she hasn’t come yet today but unlikely. I’ll drop them at the post office tomorrow. Hope they arrive in time.

Oops, just remembered today is Juneteenth so no mail. But that doesn’t explain yesterday. Hmmm

Yah, This morning I wondered about how the new holiday would impact mailing our all important Birthday Candies!

Congrats to all who have mailed already.

Whoop whoop I am so excited. My very first candy package arrived. Totally surprised me as we are totally caught up in all the pre wedding activities of our first grandchild getting married next weekend that I totally forgot how close my birthday was.

    Thank you Quossom

I love the block setting that makes it look like flowers - thanks

SBG, that is a good one. Simple and who needs a pattern? I like that the layout uses both strong medium to dark colors and light pastel colors too. My eye settled on the pink star and the medium turquoise among the browns, reds, greens and gold stars. Thanks for another idea. Lov'in it!

Love the Woop, Woop! Terriamn. First of the July packages to arrive. You should be getting a flood of them in the next few days. About half the group has already dropped them in the mail! Just set them all aside until after the wedding festivities when you can relax and enjoy opening YOUR presents.

SBG, I like that quilt too! And it's within my ability level, even better. Maybe the next candy quilt, I'm still not done with checkerboard chain...

SBG, I’m another fan of the quilt! I like be how some stars are one color and some have 2 coordinating fabrics. This one will go on my short list of quilts to do in the near future. Thanks for sharing it!

Terriamn, happy your candy packages are beginning my to come in.
