Wasting time wandering FB and look what I found. Another use for 2.5s. https://villarosadesigns.com/products/dublin

Very nice... especially when done in a controlled color palate like that.

SBG, I agree. I have plenty of pieces from a fall color pallet that could be used. It is under consideration. It would be a good project for my early October quilt retreat. Humm? A developing plan. I like to take one or two projects and finish them during the retreat

Love the quilt you found to use the 2.5's!
It may find it's way in my future! 😊

I wasn't very quick to respond this month. My greetings got to the post office this weekend. Hope they arrive in time!

Welcome this morning, Swappers. This morning is a beautiful start to a rainy day. When I opened the slider to my patio, I could hear the rain whispering as it gently pats the leaves of the trees and marsh in my back yard. Ah, how quiet and peaceful. A good start to the day. I have been struggling with putting myself in front of the sewing machine and accomplishing some sewing tasks. So today I have set a goal of 4 blocks. The sub pieces are finished on the most part, so I hope to make some progress on my group's mystery quilt.

What do you have under your needle?

My fingers are crossed that your packages will arrive on time Crispy_Frog.

    Happy stitching today.

I am in the process of trimming 70 candy blocks all to 8.25” and hopefully today I can start adding the border around each block. Hubby is spending the day and evening with a couple of his college buddies so I might just end up doing nothing today. Who knows LOL

It's cloudy here, welcome change from the hot (gasp! 85 degrees, I know that does not sound hot to many of you) weather. It is my day off work so will go for a bike ride. WMUTeach, thank you for the suggestion and that's what I'm going with. A more subdued color for the border that's already in the quilt. And the binding might be subdued too. I've already made the binding out of all the bright scraps from the quilt, but it makes my eyeballs hurt when I try it next to the quilt. Ugh. So will save the binding for some other project.

Another arrival today, with very festive stamps:

    SusieQOH

Thank you!!! I hope to have an “opening party” on my actual birthday this year. Things are much better than last year.

    Good morning everyone.

Finally can get a breath. Work has been crazy.

I sent my candy with tracking and it will be delivered tomorrow on Quossum's birthday.

I have loved going through all my candies. Planning a quilt with my years of candies.
