Happy belated birthday Quossum!!!! I hope it was a great one. FYI I mailed your candy already. I hope they get there fairly soon.
- I have decided I’m out of the quilting groove right now. We have been watching the Olympics for the last 10 days. I have only gone to my sewing room 3 times in that time span. I’m still working on projects from several months ago. I really need to get them done.

I am giggling, with you TG. I have been quite captured with the Olympics too. I have had to choose the events that don't interest me and make a few blocks, than back to the TV. We should be quilting like crazy next week when the events are over.

Just a quick check in to say hello. It’s been a busy couple of weeks and now my swap is starting up so it’s going to get busier for a while. Managed to get a little sewing done today but no candy sewing. My sewing room is a disgrace so maybe I’d better straighten it up before I do anything else.
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.

Just popping in to remind you that the September swap birthdays will be coming out tomorrow. And we have a birthday in about a week. Not all packages have arrived but you still have time to get them in the mail.
Lovely morning here in the mitten. Fall is just starting to color some leaves red and gold. So swappers enjoy your greens because soon we will be watching the gold, crimson and orange decorating our woods and bushes then piling up on our emerald grass. I am off to Shipshewana to attend a quilting group, do a tiny bit of fabric shopping and to admire the new fabrics in the shops, Then I want to pick up baking supplies for fall baking. Making pies and bread is my happy peaceful "work".
