I am a procrastinator and have blocks sitting around from swaps years ago. But I have sewn 72 of the candy blocks, a new first for me. Unfortunately I can’t remember what the last row looked like. I sewed 2.5” strips on all 4 sides of some of the blocks and determined that wasn’t the look I wanted. Need to frog stitch those blocks and try another idea. Here are the 72 8.25” blocks.

The September birthday addresses have been sent. If you see errors or you did not get the PM, let me know and I will make corrections and/or re-post.
Cool day in the mitten. Making dinner in the oven to take the chill off. Yup, in a couple of days the AC will be back on or so they say. Good weather for snuggling up to make candy squares quilts today. Or is it always time to make candy squares quilts?

Okay, this is RARE for me—usually it takes me several days to get my stuff together—but I mailed BOTH of my September packages today! I dropped them off at two different mailboxes in two different parts of town, because I’m paranoid that way! 😆
@WMUTeach , how many more for the months of October, November, and December? I want to make sure I’ve got enough packets of squares ready!
