You can request a pickup in most areas. Go online to usps.com the day before you need it picked up. I don't have a car most days and I schedule pickups for my packages. (I sell on EBay and Etsy, so have used this fairly frequently) Just put your package out in your designated place by 8 a.m.
This is only if you have prepaid for your package and you can prepay priority labels online as well. Just a tip for those who don't get out much.

To our current or former postal employee swappers:

I think when I first started using Click-n-Ship I could print the prepaid labels and labels without postage to use for mailings like swaps when the exact return date was unknown. Now I can't find the w/o postage option and hand-write labels that usually don't stick to the plastic envelope nearly as well.

Am I missing something or is the w/o potage no longer an option?

Here's the online USPS shipping labels site, it says you can prepay or not.

    Hope this helps.

You can also purchase (online) Forever prepaid priority mail padded envelopes. (And other sizes). You can purchase in increments of 3. They are prepaid and never expire like metered mail. Also, you are buying at today's prices and we all know prices increase frequently. I buy these to include in my package to Red. She just has to fill, seal, and return to me. No sending money or waiting in line at the PO.

Sewbiz, very few do, actually! LOL

I started to keep a "cheat sheet" on who's name goes with what screen name, but of course, it is never in the place when I post. This time it's up north at our cottage. Lots of good it does me 3 hrs south, right? LOL...no worries. We'll get it all.

I did get an email there is a package coming and it may not be until really close to the deadline, so...stay tuned

Has anyone seen the crayon quilts? I thought it would be a great way to use up a few of the colors we have swapped here. So stinkin' cute!
