I think I'm going to make a pink orange peel quilt! I'll need 168 pinks, and I received the 10 packages of 20, so that's more than enough for a lap quilt. I just figured it out, it will be 63" X 69". I will give it to my great niece who will be 3 in July. I know it won't be done by her birthday, but maybe by Christmas??

Received my pink squares and love them! Thanks to all and especially thanks to our host. Thanks for the pink clips! I see that djmat mentioned a purple swap. Did I miss something?

Thank you for the fun swap. My! But that was a quick one! I've got my charms too. I left feedback for those who I got a swap baggie from, but not for 'jabaB' because I think she is not a board member, but is a neighbor? Anyway, if there isn't a post from her, then I don't know how to leave a feedback. I hope to see some quilts made with pink charms from the swap. I have an idea how to use some, but I counted, and it won't use half of what I received!

Thank you Red, for doing the swap!

Thanks to those who left feedback for me. It's sort of fun to collect that. :-)

We had a tremendous wind storm here in central MS Friday and our power has been out since then. Just got it back on... yay! Sooooooo many huge trees are down. 16,000 homes without power in our area, from trees that took lines down with them.

I did get my pinks! Thanks to everyone for swapping. Love all the beautiful fabrics. Here are my favorites:

And thanks to those who sent 1930's repros, which I also love:

All of the fabrics are lovely and will be used, but for future reference ladies, these (below) are not pinks. They are whites. If the background is white, it's a white, even if it has some other colors on it.

You will notice that one of the three 'favorites' I chose is also a white. I still love them and will use them as neutrals in scrappy quilts, but they are not pinks.

Now lets see some fun quilting with these. I am thinking about mixing them with bright greens for a pink and green quilt.

I personally don't mind the white background since most quilts need some lights for contrast and I never have enough variety in my lights.

Not trying to contradict sewbizgirl at all. I think most swappers are swapping from the stash and it was hard to come up with 20 unique fabrics.
