I thought I posted it here? huh.. Well it's a long term temp position at Wells Fargo reviewing foreclosure documents. It's second shift, pay is what I'm used to, has benes, and it's by my school, so it's near perfect. it'd be super perfect if it paid me as much as my last job but sure that job only paid that well to cover the therapist fees.

I've worked in their mortgage division twice and their securities division once, so I'm used to working there. I was hoping for a call from my old boss about a permanent position I applied for with them but the hours wouldn't be as good of a fit, nor the location, but the pay was a ton better and I"m sure the benes would have been kicked up a notch too. but whatever works.

I am broke.. simply put.. soooo broke.. and I got an international secret santa so even more broke. And I have too many projects to get done by mid november, plus school so I just needed a break.

Good luck to your interview! I suck at them. Kinda why I like temp agencies, they're my interview so I don't have to. It takes lots of pills for me to handle an interview.

Table runner is due in the mail Jan 15th. So lots of time to deal with holiday stuffs.

I just have to finish quilting the table topper for my secret santa and i"m so over it right now hahaha.. I want it to be magically done. I have to go write a 750 word paper due tomorrow now. yay me. I can't even focus on reading the thing I'm supposed to read, or the instructions for how to write it. I'm so over this set of classes. haha. I'm soooo over a lot of things, it's hibernation time.

Brenda didn't know you were trying to find a job also, so good thoughts about that for you. One advantage Anastasia to that part time, not quite as much pressure for school, I know it's hard to work full time and go to school too. Benefits count for alot these days, not to many companies even give those anymore. Put myself in that owner position because of my business for many years, gave benefits and automatic pay increase, some thought I was totally nuts, but had very loyal, honest employees. That was worth its weight in gold to me. Glad I don't have that anymore, retirement is very good. I'm beginning to like those long coffee breaks you know? I wish you all kinds of luck though also and hope you both get jobs. Well as long as you keep sewing too, I would get lonesome without you!!!
We definately need to have that tequilla party at your house and get stupid, fall up the stairs or down, we won't care, backsides might be a little black and blue but that's okay, it'll mend in time, my old skin takes a little longer you know. Then I'll let you know another thing you need......

Nope not part time, full time, but the hours are great for school and if I'm right about the location, it's 3 blocks from school! so even better. I love when temp agencies offer benes, THAT is rare.

Hehe Tequilaaaaaaa.. I think tequila is definitely in order this weekend.. hmmmmmm.. Is that a misappropriation of unemployment funds? eh who cares. hehe I will still sew, and I'll still check in on breaks and night owl hours and probably first thing when I get up. Sewing will have to be after work I think. We'll see how this all plays out. I don't particularly enjoy doing 2 things in one day cause then I have no time for anything else. But since school is part time, hopefully I'll have some days that are free to myself before work.

Where are we going? I'm not sure if I want to go - I've heard about some of the things you do - remember we spent lots of time on the bench in Sept and Oct - fortunately it wasn't the 'naughty corner' of the SS group. LOL

Can I come too? I want to see what mischief you ladies get into! Ana, I want to start on my table topper... I have picked out a theme, well unless my partner hates it!

Hey Brat! I miss your chatter, prayers going your way! Hope you got your coffee!

    Hi A,
So glad your job worked out for you with your school stuff!! I just gotta say if I would've had a drink of my coke, I would have choked on it when I read "it takes lots of pills for me to handle an interview"...simply because it sounds exactly like something I would have written!! LOL...So, anywhooo, congrats again...
Sending good thoughts your way too, Brenda...
    Regards all,
    Kif
