WOW some of ya are done and shipping!!!! Oy Vay!!!! I have too many things that I must finish for Christmas to even start on mine. I have given some thought to what I might like to do and that is about all. But at leastI'm thinking about it with a small portion of my cluttered mind.

It's ok Tree.. I've only tossed around little ideas in my head but I haven't had the time to look at the colors of my partner to settle on anything but I have to get other stuff out the door before christmas too. Mainly my boom blocks and my neice's quilt. Which means next weekend I have to get the backing fabric for her quilt and this week I have to get her borders on. So it has time to get longarmed and sent back by christmas. I should be doing those borders today but I haven't the energy to go pull all my sewing stuff back out.

oh, dear! why is my poor partner always the last to get her swap? because i look at the due date and decide based on that if i have enough time to do it, after i get the previous commitments done. guess i should try to be on the other end and have it ready to go when names are announced.........but then the excitement is all over too soon.

I have a plan. Wish I had more time. Lol spent weekend on projects. Made postcard forcontest got DQ done but hand sewing binding, then add some bling. Row robin due the first, about 3/4 done. Have 8 pillow cases cut for dgkids for Christmas. Wow, sounds like a lot, guess I better get cracking! Whoot hoot!

My table topper is finished except the binding, I am going to work on binding tomorrow and then think about mailing it... But I agree, I don't want the surprise to be over too soon... I could just send it with out any explanation but all she would have to do is look at it and know it is me! Ha the Apple Pie queen! (I never bake pies!) Then she would turn it over and see my name!

Oh well like Jaba says better to be in your house than mine, besides if I keep it too long it might disappear! I have been working about 12 hours a day getting ready for craft show on Dec 1st.

You know I was thinking that it would be really cool if we had a "Craft Fair" here, where we could trade or bargain or sell to each other items that we make for Christmas fairs. I know they have the yard sale Thread but this would be just new craft stuff, not materials or unfinished items, but stuff ready to wrap and give away for Christmas!

WOw a dq finished and on view. My hats off to those who jump right in with two feet and eight hands and whip these out! I love it totally different from the norm. Mine is not nearly so creative. But its mostly done I cut, and have sewn the top and cut the batting and backing. So its quilting tomorrow and binding on Tuesday when I have time to stitch the back part on.

I think a craft show and trade would be fun. Maybe have a one star to four star rating (meaning value?) and so you can trade four say mug rugs for one table runner? good idea to start planning for next November talk it up post a coming soon and then some magnificient person like Marytoddliz can do the honors of hosting it (how every generous of me!) I noticed in the ornament swap people were doing the going to sell these for x at the next show and members here were ordering from them. So its done but differently I suppose. Trading is much better for me than buying. More in my price range.

My doll quilts are going North! to wait that is the wrong song. shoot what was that song again? oh and then again it could be refusing to follow the gold rush out here and returning back across country where food and water and luxuries are plenty 150 yrs ago..
