Hi everyone - and especially to "jaba",
THANK YOU ! for my Spicy Spiral Table Runner ! ! ! It is georgeous, beautiful, amazing and wonderful to receive such a gift as this. I have the pattern but have not tried it yet. Thank you again ! ! !
I have not seen where anyone else has received theirs yet - maybe I'm the first one.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all.

Marytoddliz can you post your apple runner now that it has been received? I would love to see it since it accidentally DIDNT COME HERE.

I have quilting to do today. Last night I made an amaretto cake to gift to a couple people. I used a rum cake recipe so wish me luck that it came out ok. I tried a small piece out on Steve who does not like almonds and he said it was definetely good and will be loved. I sure hope he is right!
oh and Marybeth I dont eat chocolate much. Its not like jelly bellies. Jelly bellies rock. and taffy, and carmel and things that stick to your teeth like licorice. So question of the day if you could have only ONE candy what would it be? today for me.. Grapefruit sours.. not sure they are sours but they are these sugared fruit slices that have a semi tart grapefruit flavor and ohh I havent had those in years. yuppers three or four of those would make a great breakfast!

You really need to send me that recipe for amaretto cake so I can make one, it sounds wonderful.
Quilting, I'm so happy you liked the runner, I really enjoyed making it for you. Pattern was new to me but I think I'm addicted to it now. I love making them!
MaryT show us those apples, didn't come to my house either.....

Well, I am sad to say that I did not have a camera then! But I did take a picture with my web cam, but did not turn out real great! But will try to load it up!

I have a camera now! and I am working on finishing the best DQ I ever made! It is being finished and hitting the mail as soon as I get the address for my Partner! Pink Lotus.

Sorry but this is the only picture I took with my Web Cam, Dappler312 will post a picture, I wanted to show you the back too, I embroidered it and it turned out pretty good!

Well I have to get back to work, I have a quilt to get in the mail today. It is going to Vermont, the back is Cammo and the front is various Woolen plaids! (I am allergic to Wool, and can only work on it for a few hours at a time) I will post picture in the picture thread when I am done!

Donna, I love that table runner, you did an awesome job with it! I really like adding a little bit of embroidery to everything I make now, it is addicting. And having both machines running at same time it really does not take very much longer.

But my old trusty 30 year old New Home Memory Craft 6000 (Nellie) is starting to show her age. She has been in the shop a lot lately. I am now looking for a new machine, well actually and old one.

I want to find a singer 301, They were made in 1951, 1956 and 1961. they are a really good machine to sew denim with, which is most of my business. My Nellie will get used just for making clothes for my Grand Daughter. The 301 is made with all metal parts and can really take the heavy loads of denim, leather, and Twill heavy fabrics. mt friend has one and I can't help but want to take hers! LOL, she got it at a yard sale for $20.00 I am saying prayers that I can find one just like it, hopefully for $20.00 too!
