I, too, checked it out. Way far from me. Oh, well, good things come to those who wait - and I'm waiting.
Jaba, like your new avatar. Think there's a chance? My Saints are out, but just wait till next year!

Oh yes Vanogay, there is always a chance and I'm really praying to the Bronco gods. Its been a very long time ..1996. This is a rug I have, couldn't resist to take a pic yesterday and put it on here and on my computer screen. Since your Saints are out, you can cheer the Bronco's on with me. Been trying to recruit "le brat" too but she's not cooperating very well.

I will "root" for the donkeys with you. We lived in Colorado Springs for 17+ years and I never once wanted them to win (the John Elway days) even though they did. Now that I've moved, they're okay - but still behind my Saints!!!!

You can still love your Saints, but I want you to have something to keep you occupied. We'll have a date next Saturday....Bronco's and sewing. My machine just sews like crazy between the whoops and hollers, and I've got another one all threaded for you and ready to go....And if you don't want to bring a project that's okay I have lots you can sew on, think how much we'd get done. Hubby makes the appetizers and brings them to us and I'll have the bar all stocked up, we'll be happy happy!!!

so.. I thought I was done with this top.. I put my borders on, in a half asleep state... forgot I was working with some bias edges.. forgot to pin... so of course they're wavy as heck.. oh that was AFTER I had to rip them off because I forgot to add the length of the new border to the other borders.. *sigh* which of course I sewed them on first.... hahaha.. so.. I'm debating if I am going to rip them off AND rip out the bias edges that are causing my problems.. aka completely disassembling this darned thing.. or if I will just pin and very carefully sew the borders back on... probably that, cause I'm lazy. Glad this isn't going to a longarmer

You know what this means right?.... that if I'm close to being done.. you all better be as well! cause I'm a serious procrastinator so everyone should be beating me.

How about pressing those biases back into submission. I use the sew best spray stuff or a starch and see if that does not make them behave themselves without steam of course. This helps me at times when I do the same thing. Yep we have all been there.

I think that's the plan cause i really dont' want to disassemble this. heheh. My seams are lining up so nicely currently, I can't guarantee they would if I rip them off. So I think I will starch the ever living heck out of the edges and then PIN LIKE CRAZY the borders back on and then maybe starch and starch and uhm.. starch? again? hehe.. then I will quilt it and wash it and see what happens hahaha.

Also, there are many ways to quilt the heck out of it to put them into submission as well. Done that one a bit on quilts.

ok one border put back on, much less wavy, just a tiny bit, not too bad, nothing I'm going to cry over.. One little spot that had something on but I pressed the heck out of it and beat it into submission, so after it's all bound it should be fine there. Got the other one pinned, will sew that on when I get home from work. I WANT THIS THING DOOONNEEE
