I'm still trying to figure out the postage issue on this swap and to see if it will be in the budget. If I can swing it ... I really really want to play.

    Sincerely,
    Tricia

The medium flat rate priority mail box postage cost is: (for USA to USA addresses)

If sent from the post office: $12.35
    If purchased on-line: $11.30

    The boxes are "free"

One way shipping looks like a good thing.

The boxes can be ordered at the link below, and they'll deliver them to your door for free.

    https://store.usps.com/store/

Then you can print the shipping label online at https://cns.usps.com/go

Or, if you have a PayPal account, you can print the shipping label at https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now

And when the package is ready to ship, you can request that the post office pick it up, and you never even have to leave your house. (I don't think this is available in all areas, but you can check and see. If it's available in my little town, it's probably available in yours.) Here's the link to request a pick-up:

    https://tools.usps.com/go/ScheduleAPickupAction!input.action

Edited to add: I would recommend taping the heck out of the box, because the post office's adhesive doesn't always hold.

I can get to the postage through paypal with this link:

    www.paypal.com/shipnow

It's easier for me to remember.

We have mailbox delivery - the call to schedule a pickup is not available where I live - but I put a note to our mailman in my mailbox to please pick up the package at the house, and he does. (Our mailman is a real sweetie. )

The flat rate priority mail medium boxes are usually available at the post office.

You and your partner can work together to come up with contents for your box. There's no problem with that. Just remember that this is meant to be a "One woman's trash, another woman's treasure" box, so the partner you get may not have the resources to take requests. We're all in agreement that any scraps should be larger than 2.5", unless they are strips.

Thanks for playing, everyone! Here's the list so far:

So when digging thru fabric this morning for just the right Christmas piece, I see that I have so much I will never use it. May I fill a box of this type of fabric? Anyone interested in that? I also have some large yardage fabric that I just won't use, or at least I think I won't at this time, so I am in. I can fill, can you believe this Moonrise, two boxes without any problem. Put me down for just one though because I am not sure if anyone wants just a box of Christmas fabric to play with.

QM I think Christmas fabric would be fine. I am still working on my box, sorry I didn't see the post about scraps being larger than 2.5", but I do like the 2.5 squares.
