Well, I seem to be in the post office pretty often these days...I picked up the flatter box but will go back for the other one or may just use this one..they are so close in content sizes...I personally don't think I would care either way. I have to get started with the "fill up"...hope to get that done later today. This will be a lot of fun!

Is it going to hurt anyone's feelings if you get something you can't use that you put it in the next swap?

Be well everyone...I am off to the quilting bee...such fun!

Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. I would hate to think that we were obligated to keep everything we receive. I do a lot of swaps and I often use fabric I have gotten in other swaps that I can't use or have already used some of. I hope I haven't offended anyone.

I filled the smaller one up just fine. I estimated my yardage to be approximately 10 yards to fit in that box. It is close to the same as the other one. I folded nicely and pushed and pressed. It is not overheaping the top or bulging out the sides. I may find a few other goodies to stuff in it like some lace. I hang on to my buttons, love each and everyone of them. I will see what other sewing realted things I have around that will fit in the box that I don't use or can pass along to help with the Christmas fabric. I even put in a project that I started that is about a yard or so, all nicely rolled up. I have made three of them already, tired of making them. Hope she likes it. Also had some panels I had not used that are just sitting there and I won't be using them. The other box is waiting for me to clean out the cupboards and such. Haven't had time yet to just focus on that. I may tonight depending on how embroidering the quilt label goes and loading a quilt on the longarm.

I really like the sounds of everyone's boxes so far. Mine is a mishmash-- some scraps leftover from swaps, and some yardage I got in a big storage tote at a yard sale for $20. Man, have I gotten my money's worth out of that fabric!

One more signed up today-- debfaye is in for 2 boxes. So far we have 23 swappers!

Do you guys think we should do this quarterly? lol

Absolutely! F4, F8, any scrap measuring larger than 2.5" is fine. And the smaller scraps will fit in between bigger scraps= more fabric for your partner! Your box definitely does NOT have to be all yardage. I'm using several scraps leftover from Boom 9 swaps.

Remember- it's another woman's TRASH. Send things you know you'll probably never use.

I still haven't officially signed up, but, I hope I get plenty of scraps! Whoever gets my name, feel free to clear out your scraps.

I have lots of those also. My scraps take up two largest tubs I could buy at Walmart. Both full and then some in bags here and there hidden in the corners of the cupboards.
