Two cute quilts already! We're on a roll. I hope everyone is having fun.
Fortunately, we have very few flakes in the doll quilt swap, but it does happen. If you don't hear back from your partner with address information, please let me know and I'll find you a new partner.

I wasn't getting reminders for this thread either and it finally dawned on me so I had to go in a look for it. Computers are Bitches at times LOL She probably can't find the thread and doesn't have your addy... JAT

Well he didn't bring my little quilt yesterday so am hoping today.
However, we will not be home until later this afternoon so I will have to wait.
kwhite- what a bummer. Maybe she forgot she signed up, maybe she can't find/figure out how to get around this site. Too bad you don't have her e-mail. If she can't find her way back here, she can't get her PM.
Sometimes I think we need to have a rule about how soon folks can sign-up for swaps or need to have a certain amount of posts before signing up for swaps. I guess you can tell I have been burned on here too. I fully realize not all or most newbies are this way but it only takes one. I myself have been pretty late sending out a doll quilt, but was alway's in touch with the person. Guess that is the name of the game. Thank goodness it has not soured me. Won't let that happen because I enjoy it here too much.

I have gotten a flake once before too, but a beautiful Angel stepped in and I received a lovely little quilt. I am not concerned at all. The idea of having a rule about how new a member should be before joining a swap may not be a bad idea.
So we will just have to keep this thread on top of the recent list so she will be able to find it.

Not to worry... We can all relate mbunny.
I recently made a quilt for my mother in law and had is 80% complete and decided to rip it out, I did not like how it was going together. Took me three weeks to make and still ripping it out - seperated two blocks last night.
To the quilting gods: It is not fair that it takes longer to rip out our mistakes than it does to make the mistakes.
I like the Doll Quilt swap to try new techniques on a small scale. and not get overwhelmed!!
Hang in there and do not worry .... I'm patient. All good things come to those who wait :D

Oh I so hope he brings it to you today! Sometimes I think they keep those packages to keep us in suspense!
