Ok, once again hopefully in the correct area, pics of my sweet little quilt from UpNorth. Isn't it cute?
HeeHee, I just realized this little gem matches the color of my sons rig.

Can you see the flowers she embroidered and there are butterflies and hummers, too.

LMAO after reading SewJoyce's comment. Oh how we have changed through the years.
I was once told in 6th grade by a boy I had a button nose but never button hips! oh my!

I am just thrilled with the little quilt cjaye sent me for the DQ swap this month. Isn't it just too adorable? The border is all pieced. The little extras she sent me are wonderful...the little journal, the scissors charm (made by her daughter), and the 30's fabric butterflies all ready to applique. cjaye tells me the fabric butterflies are authentic 30s fabric, found in an old trunk at a farm estate sale many years ago, along with others from the same era, some cut, much not. Isn't it just special? Thanks from the warmest parts of my heart, cjaye!! This is a quilt to be treasured!!! Thank you so much.
