Kwhite, you have a lot of patience to do such great work in such small pieces of fabric. I love it!! It is just beautiful!

I hope none of these quilts intimidate anyone. Just the opposite. I have tried things, like bargello, that I would have never otherwise tried on a "big" quilt. This is the perfect opportunity for all of you quilters new and old to try new techniques to see if you like them. My May quilt is another experiment that turned out great. I have had months that I didn't like as well. That will happen, but PLEASE Join the doll quilt swaps and expand your horizons. Don't be intimidated BE CHALLANGED BY YOURSELF!!!

Gai I am really pleased you like it. I may have to make one for me now.

Kwhite, you are an inspiration to all of us! You are so right!! It's so much easier to tackle a new technique on a small project than a big one!! Still......................Your quilt is really stunning!! 8-)

Girl I got lucky. Could have just as easily turned out crappy, but thank you very much.

I got home and told my husband where is my package- then he had to look all over because my youngest took off with it. We had to go to Tball Practice so I was opening it at the red lights. lol. I showed hubby when I got home, he thought it was awesome.

I love the swaps and I do challenge myself each month with new patterns and techniques. My quilting has improved so much from particpating. I look back on my first piece and feel so inadequate, but each month my pieces get better and better and better.

The swaps are fun and a little love goes into each quilt no matter how simple or grand.

Kepp up the good work all and lets keep on challenging ourselves.

LONG LIVE THE DOLL QUILT SWAP!!!!

Ducky, that is a beautiful DQ. I was wondering what a tone-on-tone would look like. It's gorgeous!
