H as anyone torn your quilts and if so how did you repair them? and I guess it does depend on how big the tear is, well mine was like a 4x4.
I am attempting to repair mine so I can send it. What I did was to cut a piece off where the tear was, and just put another backing on. I have the pictures here, but the quilt is not finished, also I do have binding to put on as well.

Would appreciate your help if this happens again then I will know what to do!

Fix the edges together as well as possible. You could even put a tiny strip of fusible hem tape under the edges. Then find a really cute applique or make a really big label and applique over the fix.

So sorry to hear of your tear. I had a certain 2 year old (who shall remain nameless~~however, she is pictured here in my avatar!) in two seconds of unsupervised activity, took my utility scissors to a 4' quilted table runner a friend had made and given to me. Some cuts, long and short, are quite straight. I am planning to cut it up and make mug rugs, placemats or smaller items.

    :-D :-D

   Forgive me please for laughing. I should show a photo of the runner. Maybe I will later today. I might try it. Would have to put my creative thinking cap on high speed though. Love you, Jacie :-D
