Oh nice spring pictures! Our lilacs are just beginning to get buds. Mostly they just look like sticks. Yesterday it was summer, today it is fall. Gotta love Ohio weather.

Sorry you won't be moving back here Karen, but make sure you let us know when you are visiting. I know this area can be pricey, especially considering the local job market.

I don't have a lilac bush, but I want one. They are beautiful. My faithful spirea bush is looking pretty. When I planted it I had planted 3, but it was the lone survivor so now it seems pretty hardy.

My day lilies have their leaves growing, and they come up each year.

It was cooler yesterday after some rain, but today it's trying to warm back up. It will be in the upper 60's.

The flower pics are great. I love the butterflies on the lilacs. I only see small ones here. Baby calfs are so cute and they sure are getting big. It was 38 when I went outside at 10 am. I even had to turn the heat back on. It seems like it's going to be a cool week. Not complaining. I was surprised to get a call that I won a gift bag from the Shop Hop. I did pick it up today and this is what was in it.

What pretty fabrics. lucky you. I can't make out what is in the bags. I see one has red white and pink buttons. Can't figure out the rest. My eyes aren't what they were. Also what are the patterns? I really like the brown fabric by itself. Wouldn't it look so pretty in a fall table runner? Have a great day everyone. ( I miss Lynnie already. Gonna be a long week)

Wow, Pat, you really made out! You are so lucky! If there is anything there that you don't want, you can send it my way. It's really nice here today...in the mid-70's. It is going to get hotter every day for the next week. I don't mind the heat too much, it's the humidity that kills me. Lynnie should be on the ship about now relaxing with a drink in one hand and a piece of chocolate in the other. I'm jealous!

They are buttons that are in the bags and the patterns are wallhanging by Patch Abilities. I'm sure that by now Lynnie has gotten something to eat and is on the deck.

Karen I think this is the third time I win something on the Shop Hop. I went to Medina yesterday to drop off kitty blankets at Kitten Krazy. Today I'm showing Isabella how to make a bracelet and now she's trying to make a necklace. She made a pair of earrings to go with the bracelet. I'll have to watch out for my beads. LOL

I would just like to be in a hot tub right now. It really helps my sore old joints, and muscle pain. Before I had to retire teaching, we had to go to a lot of in-service trips to update us in new things to use with the kids before school started back. Sometimes if it was out of town then our husbands could also come. The only thing they weren't allowed to attend with us was the training. So we went on several together where they had the swimming pools and hot tubs. He went in the pool while I was in the hot tub. I didn't want to leave. lol... I miss those perks.
