NanaKathy what a wonderful needle case and other goodies from lawsonmugs. Also love the bunny ears, that is so cute. These girls make the cutest things to send. They have all been making over the top pretty pins. I have seen that pattern for a needle book, and want to try it sometime.

Just got back from the Shop Hop. I did get some pincushion patterns, some fabric (I try not to buy too much fabric as when I need to make something I go out and have to buy more) and I showed one new LQS the bunny pincushions I made and she called the hatpins stilettos. A few other people have said that but I think they would have to be sturdier than these. I still have 4 more to go to.

Mary what a cute needlecase and the bunny ears holder. And I see more stickpins. Good job. They are so much fun to make.

I'm getting here late today, severe migraine, just starting to recuperate. Lovely goodies coming in, love the needle cases, and all and those bunny ears are so cute, your own pattern???
Still, my partner hasn't received hers yet. over a week to go a few states. Maybe she's on vacation.
Mary always makes those cute little wrappers that are supposed to deter us from eating them....yeah right!!!! But they are so cute.

I'm back, did you all miss me? I hate Time Warner, usually when internet goes out it isn't for very long. Not this time.

I love the pictures, baby calves and forsythia are definitely good signs of spring. Lovely packages received as well!

lynnie according to tracking your package was delivered on the 7th. If you don't hear from your partner soon I will send her a pm. Hopefully it isn't anything too serious.

I just have to share this pic with y'all. I actually made this for my partner in the Secret Pal swap. On her info sheet she said the one thing she wanted most was "something interesting". I think this qualifies.

Gosh Pat you are way ahead of me on the shop hop, I've only done one shop!

Pat the bunny ear bags are a free tute from SewCanShe.com. The needlebook I seen several on the internet.(etsy etc.) I made a paper pattern and just guessed at all the measurements. It's not a hard pattern to guess at. The stilettos are made from turkey skewers used for trussing up a turkey or chicken for roasting. They are not made from pins so they are sturdier. Someone sent me one in a secret pal swap. I love it. They are very pretty also. The bunny ears bags took about 20 minutes to make two of them. It uses 4 -5" charms per bunny.Today I started working on my May Pin cushion.I sure relax more knowing I'm ahead a few weeks.

nhnative I am glad you are having fun at the shop hop. Yes stilettos is what I first thought too, but I didn't know how firm they are suppose to be. Nice that you got you some fabric and patterns.

Yes lauriejo we did miss you. lol.....That is cute what you made for your secret person.

Lynnie I am sorry to that you have had one of those migraines. I use to have them, but haven't in a long time. They were very painful, and I would get those halos too while out driving.

Mary I will be wanting to make me a stiletto when I get me one of those turkey skewers. I have something right now that looks like one in my kitchen drawer that is for shish kebabs.

    Default Thank you PeginCo

On Friday an adorable needle book arrived from PeginCo. It was filled with many goodies that will be used with a smile because it was made just for me.
Because I was trying to take photos with my new android tablet I forgot the yellow rick rack behind the needles.
The needle book is very spring-like with all the pretty pastel colors and little bunnies jumping everywhere. Probably the most spring-like we are going to see this year at the rate we are going.
    Thank you very much Peg.

PeginCo What a cute needlecase. I love the inside with all the pockets. Good job

Eyes I hope you will be having some warmer weather there today. It's going to be in the 70's for the next 2 days

Laurie You are going to love the Craft Cupboard in Middlefield. Lots of pincushions there. The Quilted Thimble in Chesterland is really nice. It's the first time she's been in the Shop Hop. I'm going to Mara's and Bernina today and I'll have to leave early as it's going to be hot in the car for my DM. Cute pincushion for your Secret Pal

I am disappointed. Here I am in Ohio and unable to do the shop hop this time. Hopefully when I move, I'll have more freedom to do the things I want to do. My time is limited while just visiting. Pat and Laurie, I'll call later to plan for tomorrow. At least I'll get to meet you guys while I am here.
