Any chance I can still join this month? Or in May?

Melanie Rudy -- yes! I just got someone else who wants to join up. You two will be partners. Yay! Love it when things work out. Just PM me your name, address, telephone # & e-mail address, & I will let you know who your partner is.

Oh, I just thought of something -- there has been some controversy about sending extras. I just feel I need to say -- & I wish I didn't have to -- that if you don't want extras, please share that with your partner. This way, she won't feel guilty or funny about sending you things you don't want. I know we all love making things -- that's why we're on this swap -- but just communicate with your partner if all you want to swap is the mug rug. I don't see a problem either way, personally, & I'm sure your partner will appreciate your honesty.

Now get back to that sewing machine -- and have fun!

    Thank you for everything Ctyankee.
I always like sending a little something extra to be hospitable , but I have (learned) that for the most part we are all the same. We send more at times then others depending on what we have or make or what's going on, so I think all is just fine all the way around. Sometimes if I have what I need, I like making the little extra. It's all fun to me.

Extras, to me, are intended to be a little happy surprise. Seems kind of rude to say you don't want them.
It's certainly nothing worth getting panties wadded up over.
