ekuw, I'd say that counts as hexies since you've out lined them with quilting.

It was definitely a lot of quilting, but I knew I had to do something extreme so it didn't just look like the print. I use Hobbs 80/20 for batting. It's just slightly fluffier than warm & natural, and I have come to prefer it. I actually quilted the border pretty heavily too so it's not as fluffy as it looks in the picture.

You're welcome lawsonmugs. Thanks for the kind words. This is a great pattern to use a focus fabric or one you just can't bear to cut.

R Sea, your runner has such beautiful quilting and colors!

Ube, love your sunflower fabric too. I just finished that cross & crown quilt and used a sunflower print for the backing. Perfect as we go into summer.

Annaquilts, your purple & green circles are terrific.

QueenbarbieJ, I have never seen a turtle block like yours. Really neat.

ArmyLady2012. I love, love, love this applecore runner and the fabrics you used.

M Fay, both your runners are amazing. Something about the one with circles that speaks to me haha.

Another amazing bunch of runners. Can't wait to see the rest.

Ekuw, the turtles where made with the drunkards path templates with a rounded Dresden plate blade cut in half.
