Beautiful shot Billi of the Grand Canyon. Love it! The last time I went there was in the summer & they had a fire so very smoky. We decided to take a plane ride in order to see the great scenery. It was very interesting. Small planes are not quite my thing, but did well.

Marietta, I adore your kitty block. So cute!

I have 2 blocks done. One is for Sewbizgirl & the other is for Traveling Gramma. I did all of the polka dots for TG. Hope you like them.

Here is the finished test block. Same pattern that Sewbiz's block is but this one is very graphic. I had to add the narrow strip (teal) in the center part b/c it was going to be 1/2 inch to small, but for Sewbiz's block I was able to make the center triangles 1/4 inch bigger. There is a humility block in here but I didn't see it in time to redo it.

Muse - when you mentioned you had a matching polka dot fabric I thought how cool - and your block will be perfect to go between the red and pink block. thank you. I also like the one you made for Sewbiz - great colors.
MJP- love the blue and white block - It looks great to me!!
Kass - stop showing off on what type of work you do when your sick!!

Thanks for letting me know SBG. That's why I asked. I'll use the focus fabric for the circle.

Muse, I love my block! You made my ugly fabrics SING! It's so pretty.

Kass, stunning block. I found the humility block but only because you mentioned it so I went searching. Overall, you can't see it. Are you going to use that block in your mystery quilt? You should. Somewhere, somehow...

I like that name, 'humility block'... will remember that one!
