Klaws, best of luck at the vet. how did you find out she has a uti, what are the symptoms, and how did she get it?

My poor Charlie (kitty) died of a uti. Actually we didn't know he had one, until all of a sudden he stopped eating so we got him special food and special hydrating liquid, and then took him to vet, but he didn't make it, so it is a big deal. He was up in his age too, but it still was so hard seeing him suddenly get so sick. We had him 10 years, but he had been owned by two other people when we got him.

Mary thank you for the name of the pattern. I may take a look and order one. I am not as skilled as you, but if I go slow it might work out. I got through making a bow tuck once, and want to make one of those for summer. I love how much room is inside, yet plenty of pockets on each inner side.

Good luck Karen at the vet.

Pat I don't know where all the time has gone either. I didn't think the other day it was this weekend for Easter, then checked the calendar.

Coco doesn't have a uti. Physically she is healthy (other than being overweight at 18 lbs.) I was having trouble with her doing #1 and #2 outside the litter box. It could be from stress of some sort or from the fact that I put different litter in her box lately. I don't know of any stress she could be suffering from. Nothing has changed here. I emptied and scrubbed her box and put the old brand litter back in it. We just have to wait and see if that was the problem. This is her.

Glad that she is OK. You have to wonder what kind of stress they could possible have. Mine sleeps most of the day and the only time she shows any sign of life is when I open the refrigerator and get her tuna.

What a pretty kitty!!! Kitties can be creatures of habit (just like us humans) and changing her litter could have upset her enough to not use her box. Glad she isn't sick, you will be able to sleep a lot better tonight knowing she is just fine.

Male cats have a tendency toward urinary problems.

Karen, your kitty is so sweet! Her coat is so shiny ... looks very soft!

My Arthur, at age 15, is 25 lbs but he's not fat, he's fluffy. Just kidding. Actually, he's just big. Has bobcat markings. His great-great-granddaddy must've been a bobcat! But he's a lover just the same!

SO GLAD your kitty is o.k. He looks darling and what a big smile for the camera!
Zoey has some 'pudge' too but we don't talk about it. I wouldn't want to offend her.
She said it was my fault, coz every time she asks for treats, I give them to her.
yeah, blame it on me, I told her she didn't have to eat them. she rolled her eyes at me.

Rosemary will the new kitty be inside? If so, how does Pixie like it? He sounds really cute. Will you post a picture?
