I'm off to JA's in a bit to get some fabric for myslef for an apron. Didn't know i needed one till this swap came up. I was only making my cousins aprons, but may make everyone one, including that two handed potholder with the strip of potholder between the two hands. Looks really easy and useful too.

I've been lurking in the background, reading all the comments & seeing all the lovely aprons, especially that red one -- so bright & cheery! So I got to thinking -- am I the only one who doesn't wear an apron? I've never worn an apron & it never occurred to me to do so. And I had no interest in making any, so I didn't sign up for this swap (sorry). But my mom wore the half-aprons all the time. So, when I went to work today, I asked around. As it turns out, none of us wear aprons. So, apparently it's not just me. So why is that? Is it a regional thing? Generational? Any ideas?

HI everyone, I have been nursing another upper respitory infection and been sleeping alot and not much else, my board is back to normal and I may be able to send pictures, just checked in to see what the next POM is... My last company will be here for my birthday till the 30th and then no company until later in the summer... My friend Gail has had a knee replacement so I haven't done much running around. Am going out for a birthday lunch tomorrow and one for my Birthday on Monday with friends and then Terri comes in with her Fiancé can"t do much sewing as the studio couch has been out since the 1st week of the month. Would like to try and get in the next swap.
