Thank you JuneBillie. I enjoyed playing around with the technique. Pinterest has been a huge source of interesting tutorials I just have to try out. What better way to try out new things then miniature pieces.

Thank you also Maxie. I am really glad you like what I came up with.

I received my postcard today from Armylady2012. Maxie, I love it. It is so cheerful even with the rain cloud overhead. You did a wonderful job with your machine applique.

I can't wait to see everyone else's creations also. You are all such an inspiration to me.

Thank you for so many compliments on my egg card. I got my inspiration from the V & Co. website. She is a fabric designer for Moda & also has published some books. She has some neat modern patterns. I'm not too much of a "modern" girl, but I sure like some of her designs. The gathered egg was inspired by a free tutorial she has for a heart pillow that she made. I love seeing everyone's beautiful creations. It is definitely fun to try new techniques on small projects.

Armylady that is a really pretty card you made Judith. I will start on mine this weekend so I can get it sent out soon. We had a great day today seeing my dad who is in the nursing home. We took him out to eat, and sight seeing.

JuneBillie, that sounded like a nice day out with dad. I'm glad you had time to enjoy each others company.

does anyone know next months theme. I got caught up in other things and didn't get anything done for this months deadline. Maybe I can get a jump on next months if I know what it is. thanks.

Lynnie, next months theme is all shapes and sizes. You can interrupt that however you like. You can use different shapes and sizes (piecing or applique), make a shaped postcard, You can do different quilting to enhance the theme. Whatever you want. I already have so many ideas. I am starting a couple of demo cards myself.

I am glad to see you back. I sure hope you are feeling better.

I've never done a postcard before but I'd love to. I want in for the next one!
