i know what you mean. i went on vacation (technically but really just back to Ontario to visit the children) and brought an extra box for fabric (not for souvenirs :P)

LOL. that's ok. I'll take any pix whenever. It's almost as good as going to the quilt shop and certainly a lot cheaper! Fabric is just so much fun to work it out to come with a "caution....this material will be hazardous to your pocketbook."

Thank you ladies! Your compliments are very generous and much appreciated.

Dee: you are correct, the gold fabric came from Lucymae! I am seriously considering scanning a pic of it and posting it on the board to see if anyone has any they would like to sell me.

Debe: I will happily send you the remaining pieces of the fabric I used to make that block. However, thanks to many very stupid cutting mistakes I only have a few very small pieces left.

I will share where I bought the fabric: Favoritefabric.com. The colors are Raspberry Marble and Purple Passion.

    Happy Quilting!

I bet you are far better than you let yourself think Debe. My problem is narrowing it down fast enough. I seem to collect patterns and once I start looking at them, time slips by and before i know it, I am running close to the deadline. LOL.

Once I hear from my partner on colors and if they like piece or applique items then I get to go through patterns. :)
