Got my SP late today and it's not either Krystna or Jaunty Melissa (don't know if Melissa thinks that's good news or not
).
She is North of me, and we have a good deal in common other then quilting, except she hates black licorice

I just had a crazy thought about next months swap. I would like everyone to send me a pm telling me who they would like to have as a secret pal. I am NOT saying that it what will happen but just as an experiment let's see what happens. It may not be possible if alot of people pick the same person, but lets see what happens. Lori, that sounds like fun but you'd have to get all the participants' names first so no one is left out. Then maybe let everyone pick three just in case. Not that they'd get three but to be sure everyone is covered.

just a question or two lori: how will your request apply to those who actually have no preferences at all and how will this apply to those who are newbies or those who just dont know the names of participants involved in the swaps? there are a handful of participants who posts regularly on this thread whose names are recognizable, but sooo many others do not post frequently (or at all) and their names are not known. just curious. i am one who has absolutely no preference as to which name i receive.
on another note: is there anyone in this group that has a copy of mccall's quilting january/february 2011 that they do not mind parting with or if you do not want to part with the whole magazine, would you be willing to part with the quilt pattern Eygptian Tablets in that issue? please pm me if you can do either and let's discuss. thanks sew much.

If a person did not have someone they wanted to request then they would have their names put into the hat and drawn out as usual. As for newbies they would be put into the same hat, I actually use a bowl lol!!
