I received a lovely package from Aussie Croydon on Monday, and then, surprise of surprise, a package today consisting of the EZ Easy Angle and Companion Angle rulers!!! These are used a lot by Bonnie Hunter, and I always have to "manage" without them. I'm dancing the happy dance.

In her package to me were 6 FQs of floral fabrics, two packages of needles manufactured in OZ, an adorable magnetic koala bear, a boomerang keychain, postcards and a lovely note. I think I'm going to frame the front of the note with the bluebirds on it. It's just adorable. Thank you so very much, Jackie!

OH, OH, OH! I got my package!! Thank you SO MUCH, Bullock2us! I love every single item! My surprises included Riley Blake "Sugar and Spice" fabric (woo hoo!). It even has the name on the selvage, which you know is a bonus, since I collect those little treasures....and so you gave me a whole bag full! You are so sweet! Cutest fabric names - Red Letter Day, Honey Bee Mine, Lazy Day, etc.

My other fabrics are a gorgeous green, a blue & green and a deep purple. Just lovely! The pin cushion is darling, and I love how you sewed the selvage on the back. "Pin Scatter" is the fabric name! L.O.V.E. I got patchwork pins to go with it - you even searched to find the best kind. You knew I was doing an I Spy quilt, so charms were included - and my son (7yo) almost fell off his chair when he saw those ninjas! Daisy princesses, dragonflies, potatoes (Idaho, I'm sure!)...wonderful charms. A sweet Easter tissue holder, extra special candy from Idaho, and a book: Memory Quilts in the Making! You didn't know this, but I have been trying to decide what to do with my late mother's handkerchiefs. There are two patterns in there that use vintage hankies!

I feel so very blessed! Thank you for making my day!

I so totally agree, they know they are suppose to but they don't. Just don't get it.

    Red face

Glad you liked it PeginCO. My mom is always teasing me about keeping the selvadges and I tell her that I am not alone in this. There are so many things to do with them. Will have to make her something with them. Show us that hankie quilt when you are done. I have never seen one of those (other than the pix in the book).
I am still waiting on my package too so the rest of you are not alone. I guess patience is a virtue but not one I have much of.

Bullock2us, this is my favorite handkerchief of my mom's. Isn't it beautiful? I will definitely be doing this single hanky wall hanging. And look at that Riley Blake fabric for an outer border/backing. Didn't know it would match until I pulled the handkerchief out of it's hiding place!
