Brat soooooo happy about the news! Thankful that this port is working for now. Did you have a nice visit with your kids? I ate a few deviled eggs for you...

Sewbizgirl, what an adorable mugrug you made for cactus stitchin!! Lucky girl Cactus!

I have a commission piece that I'm working on right now so will have to put off my mug rug sewing for a few days.

Kiffie, seems you've been around as long as me.
For the first four yrs, I didn't have a computer.
i'd go to the library once or twice a weeks to see what was up.
but these last two years, I've been living here. Love it here too
as you can see by my ammt of msgs.
Sewbizgirl you did a terrific job on that darling mug rug!

Lynnie, I don't think I'll ever catch up to you on amount of messages...lol
I'm almost thinking you've got the most messages here on QB..yes?? No?? Maybe??..
Though I will absolutely say I probably hold the record for loooongest post.. like Charlie Brown's teacher, "Waah, waah, wah...".

Ronda, I, too, love your selvage bag and also your comment about what you learned from making it! I feel like every project I do, I have a "learning" experience Just when I think I have one thing under control a new thing pops up.

Thank you everyone for your kind words regards my selvage bag...I could kick myself now, but when I stitched it together 2 years ago, I lined it, but added 0 batting...what a mistake that was!!!!! That will never happen again, so I learned!

I am having such fun thinking about my two partners and planning on what I want to make each of them. I've got a good start on one of them and have a good idea of what I'm making the other one as well. What fun!!

Kiffie, you've been around for almost as long as I have. I love reading your posts. actually, I love reading everyones.
I feel I get to know everyone better that way, and what you like, so if I get you as a partner, I can do something you like.

ok you got me I checked lynnies post number and almost flopped over. She wins. She gets the grand prize not sure what that is but you have to Lynnie have the most posts on the board I have ever seen. WOW. make that a jumbo WOW.

I am ready to see the pictures already! I know its early but impatience gets to me big time! I have decided that since this is a partnered swap I will send any and all notifications of illness directly to the person who is partnered with the sick person and it is up to them to work out any shipment issues or late sendings or to simply say its ok don't worry about it. Everyone gets sick. Everyone gets in trouble with timelines on one thing or another. This way its up to you to write a NICE note to them to find out what is up. If you are truly unhappy with the response you get then feel free to notify me but first and foremost try to solve it yourself. We are in this swap together ladies. Lets try hard to keep things as nice as we can. phew. hope that works out. worth a try right?

I am so happy to begin trying to quilt again on Friday. I will just cut blocks for my round robin but its a start. I am going to try a gentle curve seam and see how it goes. the ladies there keep saying its easy try it. its not like a drunkards path which in my experience was not easy at all. so fear is keeping me from trying this gentle curve seam and that is not enough to stop me. gulp. hoping like heck it works! two rows not happy I will go back to the plan b I had in mind. anyone done this gentle curving seam? is it truly simple or is there a trick or five I need to know first?

Hope to get back to my projects over the weekend!
