Ok bought fabric today now to go home and begin washing, drying, ironing, cutting, sewing and then pressing and sending. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

You and me both Lindyline, I bought some fabric to try the blocks out for practice and see if I like the combination of colours/patterns but while I bought the red and black i forgot to get some cream. :oops: Oh well there is always next week.

Ok, so got fabric, washed.dried,ironed,cut, sewed, only to discover I misread the instructions. The lime isn't heavenly, except the shade. Do you want me to redo these with a celestial in the centre??

Looks pretty celestial to me Lindyline.

I have just made a block but it is not celestial enough so it is back to the drawing board for me. It is hard to get celestial/heavenly looking rad fabrics and I think from memory the red has to be the same in every block so I am going with what i can find for the rest.

Just as I thought; - I don't like my blocks, actually should clarify this - I mean I don't like my back ground blocks, the red and the black centres are ok just don't like the mottled blue so it is back to the drawing board for me.
