Just had to post this in the August Doll quilt thread. Goofed and already put it in the Sept. thread. It is so pretty it deserves to be in both. LOL Elly made this one for me. Thank you again, Elly.

    Hi NorBanaquilts,
I am so glad that you received the quilt and tissue cover and liked them. The little item was a pillow  rather than a pin cushion, but you may use it for whatevr you like. I hope you have taken a picture of the beautiful quilt that you made me. I thought my camera needed batteries, but when I put them in, it still did not work. I simply love my beauty from you. Happy quilting.

That would be true at my house, too!! :? That quilt sure fit in that little cradle perfectly.

I haven't been on here for a few days, and I sure missed a lot!! You all have done truly beautiful, creative quilts. Such good sewing skills and wonderful color selections. Wow!! Let's face it....we are great quilters!!

    Thank you NorBanaquilt,

Thank yo for taking and posting the picture. The picture does not totally capture the beauty, workmasnship and character of this little creation. I have been blessed by many great quilters on this site and challenged to move forward in my quilting. My husband and I retire from our church ( 40 years as the pastor) in two weeks and I am looking forward to sewing until my heart is content for days at a time.

I have not seen or heard that my August partner received her quilt yet so I will post pics of the one I made her. I hope she likes it. I used some of my favorite color/fabric selections. I used green thread for the quilting. I like how it turned out. Wish I knew the name of the fabric line. Was it from Wal-mart? Maybe.
