The only hint I had was that it was applique, but this so much more complicated than I imagined.
Thank you Bonni, it's beautiful - so intricate, with such a lot of hand sewing, and a medallion in the centre!

Hi girls, remember last week I told you all I am bored .... well today I counted the posted pics for the Aug Doll Quilt Swap...not to include a couple of ladies who sent two quilts, or the chocolate crickets (lol) or Miss Dottys new creation .... out of 73 people who were signed up for the swap, we posted 47 photos to date and one beautiful little quilt was posted on the Sept. Swap pages. 48 out of 73 isnt bad. Thanks for keeping me busy this afternoon. lol
