can't wait for next month and see what everyone is doing. I know I'm rushing it. but hey, I made 2 quilts in January for Christmas.
Speaking of which. I saw on the Christmas gift thread, people talking of a door mouse,,,does anyone know what that is. I asked there, but no one got back to me yet. I'm curious.

Handsome rooster and very pretty angel. The angel looks like it was made fro 2 yoyos. My DD loves cuke sandwiches, i prefer the mater. Thank you for the encouragement. I had a great birthday DH brought me in a select lobster and gave me small wall hanging kits and fabric. Got to go and pick over some Maine wild blueberries. I may make a molasses blueberry cake later, when it gets cooler.

And I think I saw NanaKathy's on Pinterest too. I love both of them and I have a hard time getting off of Pinterest. I just need to have a pattern to make stuff. They are really cute. It's amazing how many things you can make with yoyos. I have another doll quilt started with yoyos.

Speaking of cucumbers, I remember once when I was in Virginia I went to Morrison's Buffet and had sliced cucumbers with sliced onions in a mixture of sugar and vinegar and it was so great. I think I tried to make it myself but wasn't the same. I had just seen on tv someone making pickles without canning them. She just boiled water and fried the peppercorns and then cut up onions and the cucumbers and added other seasonings and put it in the canning jars and said they will keep 30 days in the frig. Today it's hot so on went the AC but it's cooling down for the rest of the week. Good thing as I have to babysit all week. Everyone have a great day
