Everybody should be in contact with her partner. There is no excuse ... as it's part of the swap agreement. If you are going on vacation, let your partner know. It's unfair to have her send her swap package & make her wait to find out if you received it & if you like it. It's very unkind not to let your partner know immediately that you are appreciative of the handwork she put into making you a mug rug. I know people are on vacation, but if you let her know when, then the two of you can send your packages out after your return & no one will have hard feelings about it. Also, you should have given your partner your address at the beginning; I have been guilty of this, too, so I have to take my own advise! Remember what I said in the swap guidelines -- communicate with one another!

Home at last! It was a whirlwind trip for sure...hubby decided he definitely wanted to go to Florida for the winter so had to buy a new car to keep there and bought a house. We will be "snow birds" for sure. Got back and my internet had gone crazy! Hope this posts before it goes out again and will try to post pics of new granddaughter soon. Repair guy coming on Wednesday. Anyway, we think she is beautiful, Myla Appolia Ellis, born July 31, 2016 at 9:05 p.m., 19" long and weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz.
