I have more inspiration for you ladies. I am posting this photo for Armylady2012. This is the darlin' postcard she received from Nan62. Such a sweet owl Nan. And the other goodies are a bonus.

I'm not trying to rush anyone, just to save time. Next months theme is In the Sewing Room. In honor of National Sewing Machine Day, Sept. 10. I can't wait. Another fun theme. I just need to find the pattern I planned on using. I had my hands on it in the last 2 weeks. Really, it can't be lost, right. 
OH I already have an idea for this one!!!

Oh, Owlvamp, that is just beautiful. It is a beautiful wintery bird. I can almost feel the coolness in the air that signals winter is just a breath of air away. Nice job Millie. I also really like the pretty decorative edge.
On another note, I have sent out several postcards today. Pam, I want to thank you for staying in touch with me. I truly appreciated your communication with me. I have enjoyed your enthusiasm.
I also have one more postcard sitting here waiting to go out. I am waiting to here from you petthefabric. Is all okay? I am not hurrying you to mail, I would just like to know if you received my pm. Are you enjoying the theme this month? I will let you all know a little secret. When I picked this theme, I knew there would be people who just adore birds. And where as they are beautiful (some of them) and I am simply awed by their ability to fly, I am terrified of birds. I baby sat a little terror of a parakeet when I was just a pre- teenager. And yes, the little "snot" left a lasting impression on me. But, I am so glad that I didn't let that stop me from having this theme. Because I am simply enjoying all the fun birdies this month. This is just an opinion, but, I think you may be missing out on some of the joy of participating in the swap together.
I hope you all will take this for what it is, an invitation to really enjoy each other, our ideas and creativity. Thanks again for being the best swappers.
