Here is why I've been so distracted and late sewing my postcard. Total sewing room organization!!!

My west wall with most of my quilting fabric and other fabrics

East wall with all the Ikea shelving stuffed full. My picture taking is a bit tilted. The room isn't!!

More Ikea organization. The rolling cart has all my rulers and some other items I tossed on it.

My north wall with the CD towers full of fat quarters and my $7.50 sewing table from Goodwill! It's real heavy and sturdy so I can really step on the gas and not have the table shake!

I received a postcard from cookiezenmilk! I'll post it when I can.

As for the one I'm sending... Life hit hard this week (clogged underground drain I'm still working on, car completely died, had to replace, etc, etc!) I have it planned out, so I hope to get it made this weekend when things are hopefully less hectic.

I went back to all hand stitching for this one, since I didn't have the machine set up. Should have it finished tomorrow (and mailed Monday)

I sent out my partner's card yesterday.

J50, your card looks like endless friendship---! was it paper-pieced? I'm working on that technique now.
Sleepy Hollow, when it rains, it pours, I've had a month of stuff as well. Hope all is 'right as rain' now...
Cookie, hope your job situation takes a good turn. When you go shopping at Miz Melly's, can I tag along?

In other news: I am not $700 million richer, however, Saturday going to a 'fabric giveaway' from a longtime collector. Now that's luck!

MizMelly - we will be back on the road next month and will be heading up to Prescott come October. Glad I know where to go for some stash!!
Missing your creativity - and enjoying seeing your cards. All stash is packed away, keeping out some hand sewing for traveling. The summer has been with grandchildren, children and momma - at bay beach, LI Sound beach or ocean, on boat fishing and clamming, and trips in to NYC with grands and friends. Busy is the word - but filled with memories.
KRoll - long time collector stash sounds wonderful
